“Matte” born in Rome, but raised as a skier in Sansicario, was a protagonist of the World Cup circuit for 15 years; managing to obtain two podiums, including a victory, which allowed him to finish in the 2012 season number 2 in the world in Super-G; he participated in 2 Olympics and 6 World Championships and made 200 World Cup starts.
